Tournaments:

Students of Oulundsen's Taekwon-Do are eligible to participate in regional, national and international tournaments which are sanctioned by the ITF and Unified I.T.F. The Unified I.T.F. sponsors regional tournaments, held in Hartford, CT, in the spring and fall of each year. Participation is not mandatory, but all students are encouraged to enter.

There are three categories: Forms, Sparring, and Board Breaking.

These tournaments are a great way to enjoy Taekwon-Do as well as meet people from different states and countries.

As tournament time nears, classes gear up for the competition. Even those who are not attending the tournament enjoy that extra push in their training during these weeks. Tournament information can be found on the Unified I.T.F. website

Summer Camp:

Summer Camp is a one week program where students of all ages may attend. You can stay for the whole week or just the weekend. We do a lot of Taekwon-Do training and exercises as well as other activities associated with a stay at camp.

Activities: pattern, 1 step sparring, free sparring, self defense, board breaking, videos of tournaments, demos and nunchuck class, soccer, golf, and basketball seminars. Fishing, swimming, softball, volleyball, and much more.

Campsite and meals provided. Unlimited training and activities included. Prepare your own tent or we will make arrangements to share with others.

Demonstrations:

To promote the art of Taekwon-Do as well as spread the word of our organization, demonstrations are organized and held at different times through out the year.

Demonstrations are a fun way to show others what we are all about.


Kids love them because it gives them a chance to "show their stuff" in front of a crowd of people.

Seminars and Workshops:

As a member of the ITF and Unified I.T.F. , students are eligible to participate in various seminars..

These seminars cover a variety of subjects:

• Taekwon-Do instruction (in which all instructors must be certified in )
• Self Defense
• Tournament Judging and Refereeing
• Basic Taekwon-Do seminars that give trainees an opportunity to train with some of the top ranking Masters in the world.

Other Activities:

There are also holiday parties, summer outings, an awards banquet and other social events held throughout the year.
